Go Microsoft Sales Team! Yay!!

Hoo boy... I know I'm gonna catch a lot of flack when my non-IT friends see this video.

Come dig the musical stylings of Bruce ServicePack and the Vista Street Band, as they belt out their no. 1 hit - "Rocking Our Sales"!!

Microsoft Office Interactive Developer Map v2.0 released

Friends, Romans, Office developers... lend me your ears!

A new version (2.0) of the Microsoft Office Interactive Developer Map has been released.

If you've never seen it before, it's a nifty little WPF application that allows you to drill down into any one of the Office System applications, and learn more about how to develop solutions on it.

This is the perfect starting point for Office Business Application (OBA) development.

If you're serious about Office Development, this is a must have reference!

Hello World.

Hello everyone. My name is Aatish Ramkaran.

I'm a Technology Specialist with Microsoft, concerned primarily with Office Business Applications (OBAs), Groove and the Open XML document standard.

Topics that I'll be posting on will include:

  • Open XML  - explanations, thoughts and ideas in general

  • OBA development - specifically Line-Of-Business system integration with Office (the very definition of OBA)

  • integrations between disparate systems (if time allows me to flex the old BizTalk muscles)

  • automation of business processes (see above)

I hope you enjoy the ride.
