I just phoned Samsung about whether they have an official upgrade to WM6 for the i600. There are upgrades out there where you can download a package from another country and upgrade - but I must admit, I am hesitant to follow this approach. Anyway they tell me that the service centers can upgrade it for me. Upon phoning one of them, they told me I must hand over my phone for 5 days. When I asked why so long, I was told it must be sent to Cape Town for "repairs". Surely Samsung SA can do something to allow customers to easily upgrade. Even provide the software and instructions to do it yourself. Alternatively maybe have something like "upgrade days" :-) where they can upgrade while you wait.
Has anyone upgraded the i600 using the official route?
