We had a fire start in our bedroom from an outlet that had a Plug-in. Plastic melted dripped to the carpet and started the fire in the carpet. We where outside when it started and when we came in the house was full of smoke with the fire alarms going. B/F grabbed the fire extinguisher and put it out. When the electrician came and looked at it he said that the wiring was good and it was from the Plug-in. So I do believe that they cause fires.

Bernhard, is pulled by the swimming pool "snake" into the pool and drowned.)

Jim is gisteroggend dood in die swembad gekry.
(He was found dead in the pool yesterday morning)

(The swimming pool "snake" was twisted a few times around his body)

(Jim used to bite everything to pieces around the house, and regularly snapped at the Kreepy Krauly from the side of the pool, and this time the water"snake" retorted.)

"Dit is vir ons hartseer. (It is heartsore for us)
("but, it is still strange to think that the Kreepy Krauly murdered the dog," said Mr Casper Coetzee, the owner)

(Jim regularly played along with the Coetzees in the swimming pool by their house) Die afgelope week het die kwik in die Vrystaat aan die 40OC geraak.
(In the past week the temperature in the Free State has arisen to 40 degrees celcius)

(Coetzee said that the dog must have bitten towards the Kreepy Krauly, some time in the night, and fallen in) Hy het in die pype verstrengel geraak en versuip. Hy is maar skrikkerig vir water.
(He is scared of water)

Jim is op hul plaas buite die stad begrawe.(Jim is buried on their farm, outside the city)

Die Coetzees gaan nou 'n soortgelyke hond kry.
(They are now gonna buy a similar dog)

I agree with Senkwe about useing the right language - diplomatic - to try and resolve this. You need a certain amount of tact when pointing out faults in the work of fellow devs. I typically try to point out (preferably in code) why such and such a technique or design is flawed. But you have to do it in such a way that the guilty party believes he/she has helped YOU come up with the solution. Use phrases like "Wow, thats pretty cool, but I wonder how it will affect this, or perform here...Hmmm, hey maybe we could rather do it like this, what do you think?"

As for me personally, I love to learn from other people so I welcome any and all feedback PROVIDED you actually KNOW what you're talking about :-)

re: IT People have Personalities!!!

Thank goodness!
