.NET Compact Framework (Smartphone) -> Symbian S60
As we, Red Five Labs, are getting closer to a public beta of our implementation of the Compact Framework 1.0 for Symbian OS powered devices we would like to get some early pre-beta feedback from developers or companies that’s got existing applications developed for Microsoft Smartphone’s and would like to see these applications run unchanged on S60 phones. (To see a full list of S60 powered devices click here.)
The only requirement is that it’s a managed application developed targeting the Smartphone subset of the .NET CF 1.0. Suggestions for useful Smartphone applications would also be welcome. You can contact me either by leaving a comment or popping an email to armanddp@redfivelabs.com if you're interested in working with us or to get more information.
In related news our CTO/Runtime Architect, Mike Welham, finally started a blog where he’ll be posting some of the design decisions and trade-offs made as development progresses to public beta. I’m know he can recite the CLI specifications backwards in his sleep so there should be some very interesting posts in future :-) Subscribed!
