Information Card Support Competition

To boost Information Card uptake Microsoft announced a competition where site owners can win one of the prizes listed below for adding Windows CardSpace support to their sites. All you have to do to qualify is implement InfoCard sign-in and sign-up functionality. See the announcement for more details.

  • 1 Round-trip ticket (from and to a single location within the United States) (What about non-US residents!?)
    Overnight accommodation in a hotel near Microsoft Campus

This also served as a reminder that I need to deploy an update to the CardSpace implementation on this blog. A couple of months back I changed the implementation to redirect to a seperate CardSpace handler page instead of invoking the Identity Selector from script and what was meant as a tempory test ended being the implementation in use since then :(
