Windows PowerShell 1.0 released (or so they claim)

Windows PowerShell 1.0 (known previously as project Monad) has been released to the web today. Well thats the claim from this blog entry at least. Its just a pity that when you goto the download page you get presented with downloads for Windows PowerShell RC2 and unfortunately most links don't work.

Maybe when it is actually released we can all start getting ourselves up to speed on the powerful new shell concepts instead of those clunky old batch files that we've been using up until now.

Update: It seems that the page PowerShell has been fixed and you can download it from here. But note that Windows Vista isn't supported yet. Thats a little shoddy Microsoft.

Yeah I did. It links to Windows PowerShell 1.0 RC2 not the final version 1.0.
