Telkom in the dwang for claims
It looks like Telkom is in a bit of a pickle over its recent " Do Broadband " advertising. A post on MyBroadband details the complaint from a consumer that says its false advertising. Recently the incumbant fixed line telecoms operator in South Africa (Telkom) decided to upgrade all consumer 1Mbps ADSL lines to a potential 4Mbps service for a trial of video on demand. As soon as I heard of this free upgrade for the beta I decided to upgrade my measly home 512Kbps service to 1Mbps.
