It seems that Durban residents are getting rather upset about the 200 odd proposed building and road name changes that are on the table. As an ex-Durbanite I must say its a ridiculous move as not only does it create confusion for residents, but it also has a negative effect on the tourism industry due to the sometimes rather difficult to pronounce names. It was scheduled for November 2006 and then postponed to 2007 due to the band being worn out. I noticed a news article on the Mr Price site a while back listing the new concert dates for March 2007. After e-mails to and from Computicket and the promoters apparently the news article was incorrect. The concert details are going to be announced in about two weeks time and it looks like Nickelback will be gracing us with their presence in May 2007. Finally! I happened to notice this while driving to work this morning, so I just couldn't snapping a photo of it on my camera phone. Turns out it was in fact a blonde woman driving and she was quite amused when she saw me taking a picture of her number plate.
