The Community-Credit forums has a discussion currently underway on the topic of Microsoft Surface Computing. I was busy responding to the thread when I thought, hey this is blog post worthy, so here it is. I must say that I'm very impressed with Microsoft's surface computing initiative but I wonder how fast and prolific its adoption will be. Its great to see that the technology is built on the stock standard Windows Vista platform and I presume its using Windows Presentation Foundation to...
Last month I bagged 12th place on Community-Credit and as a result my contributions this month have been curved by 75% to increase the chance of others winning. This resulted in only 25% of my points actually counting toward my total. Technically I actually bagged 13th place in April but I won the 12th prize. Now if only I was running Windows Vista at work then I'd for sure be adding Simone Chiaretta 's CC.NET Monitor gadget to my Sidebar to monitor my projects on our CruiseControl.NET server that we use for continuous integration. Here is a blurb of what the gadget is all about: The gadgets list all the projects running on the specified server and in the docked view it shows different icons based on the status of the project. In the undocked view it also shows the last built label and the time of the...
