This is cool! Mark Russinovich just "discoverd" a new boot.ini switch for winXP and 2003.
/BOOTLOGO
Use this switch to have Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 display an installable splash screen instead of the standard splash screen. First, create a 16-color (any 16 colors) 640x480 bitmap and save it in the Windows directory with the name Boot.bmp. Then add "/bootlogo /noguiboot" to the boot.ini selection.
So no more hacking of the kernel required, :-)

Those of you that want to put Dawn of War onto a DVD that you can install from, this is the procedure that you must follow.
First download a program call Orca, then make a temp folder and copy all of the contents of cd 1 to this folder.
Then copy Data2.cab from CD 2 and Data3.cab from CD 3 to the temp folder. Run Orca and open the Dawn of War msi.
Go down to the media field and make all volume name's “DOW”, so disc id 1, id 2 and id 3 will have the volume name of “DOW”.
Now click save and close the orca application. Now run nero and burn the contents of the temp folder to the dvd, make sure that the volume name of the DVD is “DOW“. You can now run the setup right off the DVD and it wont ask you for the second and third disc.
