The cars themselves are excellent. It is a pity that they are serviced by monkey's. Not once have I been satisfied by Delta. My girlfriend has an Astra and her dealings have been the same. I think if your car is out of it's warranty, find a reliable mechanic and use them.

1. Day 2 - the car's battery went flat and they had to replace it. I was also told that I need to service the car because it's a year old! After I've asked Kobus (the salesman) to through a service into the deal and he said no. How do you sell a car and tell a client to service it after 2 days! O yes...they had to replace the electric windows aswell!!!

2. 2 Weeks later - the clutch went. It took them (Midrand Delta) 2 months to get the parts. Never mind the waiting, when I got the car back, there was a 10 cm crack in my windscreen and the electronics was broken (Speedometer, Ref counter, etc.).

3. Took it back to get fixed and when I got it back again, they somehow damaged the ABS sensors so they had to replace that. I also realised that they didn't fit a shutterproof windscreen so I requested them to fit my car with the original Opel windscreen because that's what it had before THEY damaged it - they then did replace it.

4. Got it back and a few days later the Airbag sensors went. They struggled to get this fixed!

5. 7 Jan 2008 - Took the car in because there was a funny nock noise in the engin. After weeks they told me that they have to replace the injectors. I waited for WEEKS - lack of parts! Got my car back and it was leaking diesel. So they had to replace the injectors AGAIN.

Got it back again and this time it costed my R170 to drive 36km. The injectors leaked diesel again. It was soo bad that there was smoke coming out of my bonnet and underneath my car. Lauwrence from Centurion told me that it's save to drive like this...only did I find out later that diesel can actually catch fire if it gets too hot.

So they fetched the car and AGAIN replaced the injectors. Got the car back and it was jerking and the turbo didn't kick in. Then they replaced the dieselpump and some sensor on the turbo.

I finally got my car back towards the middle of May 2008.

I told them that the car is smoking more than it used to. They said that they will look at it when it comes in for it's service. So I took it in for a service and they said that nothing is wrong. I also told them that the petrolcap stripped and they said nothing is wrong..even though they charged me for it (and it's still under warranty). I told them that they need to look at the brakes, bought my own brakes and they said it's still fine.

Since I got it back from the service I've struggled to get an appointment with them (Centurion) because the car was smoking even worse. AND I can't fill my car. I can only put in 26L and then the tank is EMPTY. Eventually I got an appointment and it's been 4 weeks now and NO phone call from them (Centurion Opel). I followed up with them and they don't give me straight answers. I spoke to the place (not allowed to say) where they've sent the car to and that person told me that they need to replace the injectors and diesel pump AGAIN! Opel Centurion does not want to pay, they think I'm putting in dirty diesel in my car and wants an analysis of the diesel. I found out yesterday from 'the place' that there's water in my diesel and that they don't think that Centurion will pay for it. I phone Centurion and again they were very brief, telling me that someone will phone me. I'm STILL waiting for a call from them.

I will NOT pay for this. I told them about this since the day I got the car back and they did NOTHING! Anyway...the first time they had to replace my injectors I stayed in Centurion and moved to Menlyn right after I got the car back. Do you want to tell me that I'm the unlucky person to put in dirty diesel in two different areas 20km appart? AND why isn't my fiance's car giving trouble? We use the same garage!

I got the car back with a few hickups bout the price they charged me for the service, anyway I drove the car like I stole it to see if it's a-okay. The next day drivin to my girlfriend the rear tyres started making weird noises, pulled over just to find they never tightened the rear wheels,it was on the verge of falling off.
