Microsoft Launches Beginner Developer Learning Center

Microsoft has launched a Beginner's Developer Learning centre aimed at the beginner programmers with information on how to start your first Web or Windows application in .Net using any of the Express Editions. Not to sure if this is a good or bad thing for hard core developers out there and an industry already overrun by junior developers, however it's a brilliant idea from Microsoft.

I am an IT headhunter/recruiter, I stumbled over the dotnet site in my hour of desperately wanting to make contact with hard core developers.  My desk is literally swamped with hopeful juniors with lightweight qualifications and almost no experience.  The industry requires qualified, experienced skill.  Plenty of these youngsters never end up in a decent position.  I’d say that there are plenty of opportunities for hard core developers.  Hats off to Microsoft and yet another brilliant business idea.  ‘ Just an opinion of another kind’.
