Some of you enjoyed the fun of playing with the Visual Studio 2008 Training Kit, which covered some .NET Framework 3.5 technologies. In the meantime the world has turned a few times and technologies like ADO.NET Data Services, ADO.NET Entity Framework, ASP.NET Dynamic Data, ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Silverlight 2 controls have surfaced into existence. Hence, Microsoft released the .NET 3.5 Enhancements Training Kit as an addendum to bring you up to speed on the latest. This is your opportunity to become familiar with these technologies, even before they RTM.
You've probably heard the exciting news already - both ECMA and Microsoft have announced it.
For Microsoft Office 2007, it means that the format in which Microsoft Office natively saves documents, that format is now an internationally recognized open standard.
For developers, it means that you are encouraged to programmatically create, update and view Microsoft Office 2007 documents, without even using the Microsoft Office 2007 desktop applications.
Why not try your hand on it?
