We're on the roll! Silverlight 1.0 was released to the web, yesterday. We expected it. Didn't we However, you may be suprised with the following. Microsoft has decided to partner with Novell to deliver Silverlight support for Linux. And, it's called Moonlight. Scott Hanselman has all the details . Most of you are aware that the next version of BizTalk (no date confirmed) will be built on Windows Workflow Foundation. Yet, some of you are eager to get your hands dirty. Microsoft is developing a new BizTalk SDK Sample that lets software developers build workflow models in Windows Workflow Foundation and then host then in BizTalk Server 2006. Microsoft announced last night (15 April 2007) at NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) the brand name for WPF/E. It will be called (drum-roll)... Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in for delivering the next generation of media experiences and rich interactive applications (RIAs) for the Web. I am really excited to tell you about the final release of ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 (formerly code-named “Atlas”). Yesterday this new framework for creating more sophisticated user experiences on the Web was released as a free download (1.4MB).
