FishEye unlocks the data within your CVS repository and provides easy navigation, powerful search, historical reports, advanced file annotation and diff, change-set analysis, RSS feeds, and integration with your issue tracker. Many more features are planned, including support for other SCM systems.
It looks really cool, especially for large teams, where it makes the team members' individual efforts more transparent for other members, amongst others. Download the trial-version here.
It seems so! The horn gets shorter...
A few months ago I posted a link to X-develop, which seemed like a very cool cross-platform IDE. Well, X-develop Professional 1.0 beta is now available for download from http://www.omnicore.com.
Last night's session was pretty interesting - thanks to everyone that attended! I've uploaded the presentation (containing links to most tools we discussed) to here.
Hold your breath, and scroll to the bottom of the page to see pricing for VSTS.
Some say that Microsoft wishes to compete with the Rational market, and are thus pricing in the same area in order not to seem like a 'lesser' product. Would you buy it?
This has to be one of the coolest sites launched lately. I'm not sure exactly *why* yet.
Keep an eye on these guys!

Check out this awesome piece of code. It was written before .NET 1.0 shipped, Mike Stall, who wrote it, says it dogfoods itself, in other words, it compiles itself too. Cool!
It's often amusing to read the comments on one's blog - here's a few funny ones i've had over the last year:

We left Prague yesterday morning early, and after a brief stop in Amsterdam we were on our way to Johannesburg. I stayed the night, and left for Durban early this morning. (I could probably devote an entire blog-entry to the fact that my flight was delayed by 2 hours this morning!)

The summit was awesome, and I got to meet some real cool people too - Roy Osherove (Notorious blogger), Scott Nonnenburg (VS Debugger PM) and Kieran Mockford (MSBuild PM) to name a few. If there's time at the Seattle Summit later this year, I'd like to challenge Scott for some snowboarding :P
[UPDATE] Some photos posted here.
