iPhone

Rick Strahl accurately sums up how I feel about the iPhone hype. Nuff said!

Hmm, I just went to its page on Wikipedia and saw many turn off:

- The biggest: Proprietary in so many ways (can't install non-Apple softs, etc.)

- No video capture - No 3G

- No memory card slot + no Bluetooth file transfer (which means: no way to transfer a big file to another device)

Can't wait for my PocketPC (with its .NET CF 2) :)

be honest, take the brand away, and the coolness, and compare features with other phones. This is a crap phone with a nice UI. Trust me, it will be really cool to play with in the first month, but to be stuck with those features for 2 years is a stupid choice.

now im a geek, and i love toys, thats the only reason im intrigued. i would love to play with the new UI, but at that price, and feature for feature, this phone wont even be in my top 100 phones

Exactly - what's cool about this phone?! I can't think of *anything*.

Besides the lack of features mentioned, you can't even replace the battery! It's part of the phone itself!
