Search Optimisation for Flash sites?! It ain't pretty, but it has been done - here's how. On the other hand, you could just use Silverlight ;o)
Get the right incoming links with the right keywords in the hyperlinks etc, and you'll get traffic from the Search Engines.
On page factors are important, but i've seen plenty of sites that have 100% flash homepages receiving Search Traffic because of their Off page linking strategy.
