The only thing that I can say about the South African cricket team, the Proteas, is that are the most consistent inconsistent team in international cricket. That makes them a very dangerous team to play against because you never know who you going to play.
After embarrassing defeats against Bangladesh and the Black Caps you showed yesterday the English team how to play the game. Normally a team either fields or bats well but yesterday they did both with Andrew Hall leading the bowling attack and Greame Smith getting the runs.
Next is the Aussies, undisputedly the best team in the world but also a team against which South Africa have shown that they can win when the odds are against them. I think the winner of this semi final will be crowned the 2007 ICC champions.
