Africas leading Bank is embarking on a drive to build brand new systems
based on SOA Frameworks using C# 2.0, SQL 2005, and
J2EE based techs. This role will not be joining any specific business
area but rather a Development Team focusing on new systems for Business Banking,
Financial Services and Operations. Your role will
be to manage the development tasks and resources. This role truly offers
the best of both worlds, it caters to the career conscious who want formal
growth and development but also caters to the Techie who wants new tools and
likes to introduce new ideas to the business.
Responsibilities:
Apply expert analytical techniques to complex systems
and project status management. Recommend courses of action and specific
activities to keep environments and projects in an acceptable
status.
Resolve problems and deviations according to
established practices. Plan and estimate for design and development. Leave
management. Personal development planning and scheduling. Meeting schedules and
management for area.
Performance contracts management. Participate in
resource selection.
Participate in strategic planning for technology
enablement. Manage multiple projects and assignments.
Manage all project and task priority changes
considering all parties involved. Provide relevant feedback to
business.
Requirements:
Systems in question will be built using .NET and
Java/J2ee based technologies - any relevant experience advantageous but not
essential.
between 8 and 10 years experience with design and
development of complex applications in a managed team
environment.
Experience in design, development and implementation of
business applications.
Experience in technical project
management.
MSF.
Knowledge of multiple pertinent work processes and
procedures.
Broad knowledge of main data sources/flow. interactions
of complex systems, capabilities/limitations of systems
software.
Ideally you should hold some form of technical degree
or technical qualification.
Salaries quoted are negotiable based on your experience.
Permanent, JHB Central, negotiable upto R550k
ctc per annum.
