My client is a top South African Consultancy
focusing on BI/EDW and CRM delivery within the custom solutions space.
They currently need strong Technical Consultants with good Business Intelligence/ Enterprise Data Warehousing experience to work on
new projects for big clients. The technology you've used previously is
important, but what is also important is that you come from a methodology
reliant past with formal process experience on enterprise projects.
What does my client offer?

project work on big projects, they are a leader in their field and tend
to be able to pick and choose what projects they take on. They are
partner to one of the biggest technology companies in the world and
tend to play in the "cutting edge" space. They have an awesome attitude

within their structures (assuming you're performing!!). Lastly good
packages, competitive with any other company in their space, they will
offer you what you're worth and tend not too try to "pinch pennies"
when faced with a high calibre Candidate.
What do they need?
Some sort of formal qualification ideally in a relevant space - completed Degrees, National Diplomas etc...
Min of 5 years commercial experience ideally in similar environments to the description above.
min 2 years Microsoft development experience using DTS, ETL, SSIS, SSAS on MS SQL Server.
Systems Analysis and Design experience.
At least good knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005 - commercial experience preferred.
BI
/ EDW experience using these or similar tools - SQL Server Analysis
Services, Cognos, Crystal, Hyperion, Brio, Business Objects,
Outlooksoft, Proclarity, Actuate, Applix, Microstrategy, Oracle, SAP
Business Information Warehouse, Siebel etc...
The "nice to haves":
MS Dynamics CRM certified or MCSD/MCDBA
ERP experience with these or similar - Great Plains, Axapta, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Navision etc...
Any Project Management experience.
Permanent role. Based in Sandton/Bryanston - Johannesburg. They will realistically pay anything between R300K and R550 ctc per annum - NB based on the experience you bring to the table!!
