XP SP2 ships with the dotnet framework

This might not be a great piece of news for everybody, but certainly under SAfrican bandwidth restrictions it is great news that providing local users with downloadable dotnet programs will be more feasible now that a far lesser percentage of people will be turned off by the 20Mb fx download prerequisite...

Now that's some good news!!! Not many people want to download a 23MB file just to run a 150KB program, so that'll solve a lot of problems! Hopefully everyone realises the benefit and installs SP2 (you know how long some people take to keep up with the Jones')

MSFT plans to get the marketing machine quite heavliy behind SP2, i think most people running XP will install it - i even think it will draw a lot of the Win2000 croud out of the shadows to bask in the warmth of a (finally!) secure OS...
