A close and long-time personal friend of mine was murdered a few weeks ago. I am not going to go into any personal detail on a public forum, suffice to say this has been an emotional last couple of weeks.

I think South Africans in general have become pretty jaded when it comes to the ability of the law to catch up with the perpetrators of the terrible things that happen in this country - not that they don't happen in all countries but to be honest it did not even occur to me that they might catch this guy until someone asked me if they had...

Well, yesterday they got him.

I went to buy a PDA on Saturday and decided that it was not the right time to buy one just yet. So i bought this instead...




Took me about 2 hours to set it up last night, and i still haven't figured out how to aim it properly, but i am really looking forward to putting it through it's paces...
