[OT] Help with damaged hard disk - RESOLVED!

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post about recovering the data on my ladies' HD. I think there were some replies that got caught up in all the comment spam i have been wading through so please forgive me if i didn't reply directly to you - I appreciate all the suggestions.

The good news is that I managed to get every bit of the data back using OnTrack EasyRecovery. A very cool addition to anyone's toolbox, it worked like a charm (and it wasn't the first product i tried).
