Free Windows XP SP2 CD

Microsoft are extending the reach of Service Pack 2 to all the folks who cannot download the hefty 270MB package by making it available on CD (free of charge) at the following outlets from mid-September: Makro; Incredible Connection; Game; Dion and CNA. RPC over HTTP Reloaded

[Spotted over at Bink ] Outlook 2003 users can establish a secure connection to their Exchange mailbox servers through an RPC over HTTP proxy server without the need for a separate VPN. Just launch Outlook from a mobile hotspot in an airport and start reading your e-mail. It's very cool technology -- when it works. Getting it to work, though, can be a little frustrating. Outlook 2003 : Connection Status

Here's a neat trick to check the connection status of Outlook when connecting to an Exchange Server: -CTRL+Click the Outlook tray icon: -Click 'Connection Status...'
