While I don't think it's that bad and useful in some instances it's something that should rather be enabled by the end-user, maybe as a browser plugin, should he/she want the functionality.

Note that the quality of the transmission depends on your car setup, ie where the radio and antenna are located and how close you can get the ipod to these. My car's antenna is built into the windscreen and the iTrip works fine - static is not an issue at all. I have experienced break-ups in some areas though, eg near the SABC transmission towers. The iTrip draws a fair amount of power and the battery seems to run down if you don't unplug it, even with the iPod switched off. Before getting an iTrip, I got a "Songbird" FM transmitter at something ridiculous like 1 US cent plus postage (came to just ove R100 in total). It works like a bomb and can either use a AAA battery or plug into your lighter socket (better option as with the battery it seems to be a bit noisy). It's also less senstive to placement in the car, if I recall correctly it has a range of 10m. Whatever you choose, shop around as prices differ drastically.

re: Using Virtual PC 2004 Differencing Disks

Hello,
Thanks for the infomation.

Hi, Is there a way to use the existing OS in HD via Virtual PC.
I want to use another XP version and Host also XP

Thanks,
Ajtih de Silva.

re: iPod FM Transmitter

try the Audia X from Merconnet.com
I used their earlier versions (called the Grüv X) and it worked great. Because they don't mate to any particular iPod, you can use the mini-jacked Audia X for any output source. Battery life (AAA) is fine for about a day of continuous use.
dan
