Cuil (pronounced "cool")
A new search engine aiming to better what Google does has just launched. After reading this article from news24 - http://www.news24.com/News24/Technology/News/0,,2-13-1443_2365520,00.html - I have tried the engine myself. Well, in my opinion, not yet Google. Still some work to do! Subscribe in a reader Share this post: email it! | bookmark it! | digg it! | reddit! | kick it! | live it!
Hiding Menu Items
I read this interesting little post by Joel Spolsky on the hiding of menu items. http://www.joelonsoftware.com/items/2008/07/01.html I seem to agree with his view that user's get confused and struggle to get the disabled menu item to work. And sometimes they just give up on the piece of software all together. What do you think? Subscribe in a reader Share this post: email it! | bookmark it! | digg it! | reddit! | kick it! | live it!
