A new beginning
Today is my last day at Centurion Micro Electronics! From the 1st of October 2009 I will be joining the ASTRA Technology Core (ATC) unit at Barone, Budge & Dominick
BB&D is SA’s leading, privately owned, custom software development company operating both nationally and abroad. The company is dedicated to designing and developing solutions for organizations that view information technology as a strategic advantage.
BB&D created the business unit ASTRA (Architecture and Strategy), specialists in architecture, strategy and interoperability of heterogeneous solutions and technologies, to focus on technical and strategic analysis and direction.
ASTRA Technology Core Unit
ATC is a technology oriented team within BB&D, focusing on strategic software and the integration and interoperability of heterogeneous information technology environments.
The core objectives of the team are to research, understand and evangelise legacy, current and forthcoming technologies, and to supply a “value-add” service that will assist solution development teams to implement solutions successfully, ranging from standalone to heterogeneous enterprise solutions.
