Some of u might know of this already but I find it still interesting. Here is a whole map of who's connecting to who to get internet connectivity.

Now u know who to avoid! hehe.
A while ago I created a library to ease the hassle of doing sorting of columns in a .Net ListView control. I have packaged the sourcecode and assembly into one zip file that can be downloaded. It also includes a sample app that shows how to make use of it.
I also wrote an article on it on Sadeveloper.net that describes it in a bit more detail.
The latest source code and assemble is available here.
I posted some more tools I created a while ago. These r:
SrvMon - a service monitor/management tool. Assembly and source code (VB.Net source)
Srvutl - a command line tool to stop/start multiple services at once in on go. Assembly - Source
These tools r provided as is. Comments r welcome.
I know there r many better tools out there that does wonderful things as far as source code management goes and backup but I created a small utility a while ago that I still use today to quickly make a zip backup of a directory containing some source code.
Nice thing about it is the files u can backup is configurable via a (custom) type config file. The interface is very simple with not too many fancies (except the fade in/out effects ;) )
The tool is provided as is. It requires a version of the opensource SharpZip dll which I also have a zipped copy available of.
Here r the links

http://dotnet.org.za/codesamples/rudolf/SourceBackup.zip
and the sourcecode:
http://dotnet.org.za/codesamples/rudolf/SourceBackupSrc.zip
I created an install of the tool so its easier for people to install it on ur pc. Keep in mind its still in development and still requires some work altough everything that's currently in it works already.

The source code is available on (boring stuff actually):

Happy hunting

The time has come to upgrade my flash drive from 128MB to a full 1GB. Not that there is anything wrong with my old trusted 128 one but there r times when that just is not enough anymore. The sad thing is I paid less for the new 1GB than I did for the 128MB two years ago.
Anyway, now i'm a Gig geek... hehe
After getting a bit frustrated with all the hassles of logging in every time at different places to DT I decided to create a quick app that will make that part of the game much easier. Thus the Dark throne Browser was born.
It's not very fancy and I have only tested it on two machines yet but it should work on anyone's machine with .Net framework 1.1.
I placed a zipped copy of the source code and a compiled executable on sadeveloper.net. Don't worry, no passwords get saved in plain text. I used DPAPI (thanks Deon) to securely save it.
Happy hunting!
[note: check out the update here]
At finally last my own copy of Dawn of War arrived today! Went and pick it up over lunch time at take2.
Now the official killing begins!
After a guy (Bert van Leeuwen) contacted me asking if he can put a banner ad for my petition site I started wondering if I can't make more use of this idea. I created a small image (banner ad) and send it to him where he now displays it on his site http://www.constantiaglen.za.org/
If there r any more people that r willing to help out this way or know someone else that can help (at no cost) please let me know. Please be careful for adding banner ads on places u don't have permission to. I don't want anyone getting into trouble for this. I'll put a copy of the banner ad under my galleries here.
And please remember to keep on spreading the word!
Thank u

Just a quick tip for those trying to register for the P & P event. Under payment method choose purchase order and type in '000'. U can then pay cash on the day of the event itself.
