Cry our beloved country
A tad off topic for those techno heads that stumble accross this blog.
This past wednesday, my father in law was shot and killed in his garden around 5km from the Hartebeest poort dam area.
If it was not for the fact that I was in the process of getting divorced and that I will not be able to get by without seeing my kids, I would have started the proceedings to move to the US the very next morning. He was a special friend, a true father figure and even though he was old school, displayed no racist qualities that still plague most people of his ilk.
