Have been a bit quiet lately, mostly because of the network problems at my previous job and this week I started at a new job. We are sitting in Sunninghill, which means that I would have more than an hours drive to work and back in peak hours on the N1. Thank God for flexi hours!!! Working from 6h00 - 15h00, which means that I'm home at 15h30 - wonderful!!! The project looks cool, new stuff that I'll be working with is K2.Net and Oracle, so quite looking forward to it all.
Used Web Messenger for 2 weeks, perfect for when you have restrictions on a network or if you're sitting at a pc without MSN. The only thing that I missed was the flashing alerts when someone sends you a message.
And then we are planning a user group meeting in Pretoria for beginning October. Will post the details as soon as we have finalised everything. From then on we plan to have meetings every 2nd month. Got a lot of ideas and input from our previous meeting, which was basicly more a 'networking' (read drinking) session than anything else :)
