Is complexity a necessity or merely a complexity?

See http://www.saarchitect.net for a new article “is complexity a necessity or merely a complexity” which looks at the concept of “simple” solutions instead of “complex” solutions.

An article looking at Team System is currently under review and will be posted in due course.

Dude, this hits the nail on the head. I totaly agree with this guy. So many times one gets to climb in some NASA Hacking Chemical Science Programmers code. Stick to simplicity. Most developers does have an above average IQ, so there is no need to do wierd and wonderfull things. When the need is there, by all means do cool things. But this article does explain my point very well.
