We have posted the "Team Foundation Server (TFS) Guidance Whitepaper" summarising good practice from the field at

This paper examines typical implementation and usage challenges in the Team Foundation Server environment and summarises practical, in-the-field solutions and/or recommendations by MVPs and consultants in the field.
