Redmond Sabbatical Day 4
It is raining in Seattle ... and I am having sleepless nights in Seattle as well.
( Jetlag + TooManyInterestingTechnologyBits ) = no-time-to-sleep :)
Dear colleagues in South-Africa and especially Mike and Grant, take a close look at the download dialog screen dump on the left. It is neither 1.76B/Sec or 1.76K/Sec ... it is using the MB symbol ... a rare species back home.
My exciting tour through reported TFS issues, problems and challenges continues, with the aim of extending the TFS Best Practice Analyser tool to become an invaluable tool for support, field engineers and technology consultants investigating or trouble shooting a TFS installation.
The focus is currently on getting to grips with the Windows PowerShell, which is an "awesome" tool, a new Windows command-line shell designed especially for system administrators. I will be boring you all with details of this tool over the next 3.5 days as I explore the tool and hopefully add it to my list of computer languages that I am excited about.
