MVP Global Summit - Day 4

I should have gone to the summit opening, Ray's keynote, Steve's keynote and the summit closing sessions this morning, but instead visited the home base again to meet with Jeff. I "love" the wonderful and humanoid friendly Microsoft Redmond campus and here are a few pictures giving you a feel of the place, without giving away any strategic location details.

Sports field in the middle of the campus, facing the baseball pitch.

The soccer field ... astro turf in all its glory. Jean-Pierre would be doing his hand stands in the middle of paradise every day if he were here ... q;-)

A view from behind the baseball fence ... if we could photograph back in time, we would see us taking the photo above. Spring is in the air ...

One of the buildings next to the sports field ... amazing location.

The TFS/VSTS mothership ... I used to work here a year ago, when I had the privilege of being part of the TFS BPA sabbatical ... what already a year ago?!? ... "Wow".
Henk would probably call this the "DevStar" q;-)

In the afternoon the side/optional sessions (with focus on TFS Internal and VSTS Debugging) continued and at the same time concluded the summit for all of us. It is sad that it is all over again, but it was great meeting my colleagues, the numerous MVPs from all over the world, including our Kuwait colleagues q;-)  and off course the TFS product team  ... these TFS/VSTS'tonians are just amazing!

I think we are all tired after long days and weird time zones for some of us. "Sleepless in Seattle" ... has a completely new meaning for me after this summit.

Cheers Seattle, cheers USA ... until next time, when I will hopefully be able to bring my family with me to explore and enjoy this amazing place.

Monkeys

We are generally still under NDA, but watch this space and attend our SA Architect community sessions in June+ timeframe, when we will be talking about and introducing the amazing new and enhanced features in the Rosario CTP12 release.
