TFS Branching Guidance II - Proposed look and feel for diagrams

image As per Team System Branching Guidance II ... "Attack of the Clones" .... we need your input the VSTS Rangers have embarked on an exciting journey to update the branching guidance. We are working on a new look & feel for the diagrams, which is both professional and appealing ... but most importantly is simple, avoiding unnecessary clutter and noise. The following is the proposed look & feel, with legends:

Looks slick. I personally don't use TFS at all so I can't really comment on its applicability however I can see that the build and milestone legend items are redundant as they aren't used in the diagram above.

Also, what would the MAIN, DEV-1 and DEV-2 lines actually represent? I'd assume that the MAIN line is actually the main development trunk with DEV-1 and DEV-2 being development branches tied to either a specific developer or perhaps a development of a specific feature set? Its not clear from the diagram.

Looks awesome!

Could an item / icon be used to represent the "Gated Checkin" feature coming in Rosario? i.e.: Would shelvesets that get a gated checkin into say Dev-1 get any show in this, or would that be a separate diagram altogether?

That looks nice and clean.  When do you expect to have this version finished?

Are you doing this in Visio? If so, can you share the shapes?

I like this, Willy. Are there templates of widgets for this so I can use this model when working with Team System clients?
