Branching Guidance II ... a question to the communities
We have been having a few discussions ... at times debates, whether a branch is a trunk, or both the same or them being different altogether. I have put it into the semantics category and have deprioritised it for the time being ... but we can cat about it at TechED q;-)
The other topic, which I would like to throw into the lions den today, is whether the approach of starting at the MAIN branch is the right and only way, or whether there are teams that start with the DEV branch as in the right diagram.
What are your thoughts?
