Why is the interoperability drive so important to us?

This must be the gazillionth time I am writing this blog post, whereby I deleted the previous attempts as I wanted to avoid the possible whiplash I will receive from some of my colleagues and the more 'radical' technologists. SDLC - We can learn from other industries ...

Apologies for low profile and plans for August+

www.drp.co.za recovered and back alive!

We experienced immense problems over the past two days with our www.drp.co.za , whereby links were broken and therefore snippets and posters unavailable. We have recovered the site and at a first glance everything looks back to normal ... please report any problems to drpsupport@bbd.co.za or myself immediately. We have also noted that FireFox users are battling with the site and will address the issue at the next opportunity. The recommended browser for the site is IE5, 6 or 7. We appologise for...

Where does the SDLC end…?

We are in the process of reviewing and finalizing our VSTS Developer Readiness Program, whereby I will try and report on the VSTS good, the bad and the ugly on a regular basis. What was the highlight of today was a heated debate as to where the responsibility of a solution builders ends, which was sparked off by me saying that it would be great to be able to import a datacenter into a logical datacenter model, with all the configuration settings … then proceed to model the new solution and finally...
